FIFA World Cup 2026
The World Cup in the World’s Subway is a large-scale public art and design project created by Burn & Broad for the FIFA World Cup 2026™ NYNJ Host Committee. Spanning New York City’s subway system, the project features 48 custom-designed train wraps, each representing a participating nation through a bold visual language inspired by its flag, identity, and culture.
Traveling across the city and reaching millions of riders, the trains transform everyday commutes into moments of discovery, turning public infrastructure into a platform for storytelling. Developed in collaboration with the FIFA World Cup 2026™ NYNJ Host Committee, New York City Hall, the MTA, Outfront Media, and McDonald’s, the project celebrates the diversity of New York while building anticipation for the world’s biggest sporting event.
